The keyboard is well packaged and the non-text startup instructions are about as easy as you could imagine.

I can also use the key on the top right of the keyboard to raise or lower the on-screen keyboard.

I entered the number multiple times, but it didn't connect.

I actually tested both K380 types. Even though the keyboard's compact width is much tighter than my regular keyboard, typing on it was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this keyboard and I give 5 stars for making my life easier. Beyond that, I tested and confirmed the K380 for Mac also works reasonably well with Windows PC's - though beware, the relative positions of the Alt (Opt) and Windows (Cmd) keys are flipped from the standard PC layout.

It takes about 2-3 seconds to switch between devices once they are paired. For my Ipad, I really like the separate keyboard vs. a bulky keyboard case/cover. It worked well with it including the shortcut keys. Only the top row of keys differs. Included in the box and already in the keyboard a 2AAA batteries. We really appreciate it. I would have preferred some velvet cloth in the box so that the keyboard would be properly protected from scratches while in your bag. Which actually makes it better than the integrated case keyboards for iPads. • Easy to pair and use with multiple devices. It took some care and a little finness, but I was finally able to open the battery compartment to see the batteries. I entered the number sequence to confirm, and then I was able to continue typing this review from my iPad. That is good as I am using this keyboard as my portable keyboard to take for on-site IT work.

If the minimalistic look appeals to you (and you're not worried about adjusting to a layout that might be slightly smaller), it can also serve as a nice primary keyboard. Alternately, its size makes it a great candidate to keep off to the side of a desk, ready to use with virtually any secondary device (phone, tablet, or laptop) for heavier typing.

Switching devices is simple as just pressing they hot key that was used to sync to your device.

I paired it first with my iphone and it was easy, the phone asked me to type a security code on the keyboard and I did (figured had to press enter afterwards) and it was connected.

Paring with my iPhone worked precisely as with my iPad. It has a small form factor and can easily be tossed into a backpack or messenger bag. Would highly recommend this keyboard for anyone that is looking for a multi-device bluetooth keyboard!

I treat any of my new devices as if they are going to break with a slight touch. Unfortunately, the compact size is requiring some adjustment for me. I typically travel ( when I did and hopefully when I do..lol ) with both Ipad and Mac. I received this keyboard and my new macbook pro on same day (yesterday) and was very excited to use them. Once you get a hang of it, it works well.

However, I can lighten my touch on the K380 and can barely hear it. It’s super quiet when typing.

It can be connected to three different devices and is very easy to switch between all three devices. That is where the Logitech K380 comes into play!

I tend to be a heavy typer, and I use a mechanical keyboard in my office. I can use the iPad normally or grab the keyboard if I want to use it.

The keyboard action is really nice, IMHO. The keys on this keyboard are same. Keys are quiet and have a good feel to them. It has some significant weight to it, and that is no problem at all.

I also like the “Delete” key rather than reaching up to touch the trash can icon. Keyboard Feel However, I did connect it with my macbook just to try it out.  

Hold the device key down for 3 seconds to initiate pairing on the keyboard. We all know how awful it is sometimes to type on these newer Mac keyboards so this Logitech keyboard is awesome because its so comfortable to type on and the clicking sound of the keys is what I love but you can also type quietly on it if your in class. I think that speaks very well for the K380. I could easily switch between all three devices by selecting the assigned Bluetooth key on the keyboard.

Logitech indicates that it can run two years on the two AAA batteries which is a plus. The IPad Pro displays a number for you to enter on the K380. I’m willing to sacrifice the numeric keypad for some portability.
