Sachy was admitted to a private hospital in Thrissur on Tuesday following cardiac-related complications after undergoing a hip-replacement surgery at another hospital in Vadakkanchery. The hospital CEO, Dr Benny Joseph confirmed the death of the director.He was admitted to hospital at 2 am on Tuesday, when he suffered a cardiac arrest and hypoxic brain damage, where the brain lacks enough supply of oxygen. He was in a critical condition and on ventilator for the past two days.
