I don't think there was ever much risk of an unpaid item strike, although it is possible that a seller might forget having his Unpaid Items Assistant set up to do it automatically. The matter's been resolved now - I've since collected the item, paid via cash on collection and the seller has marked the item up as having been paid for, so it's no longer showing up as an unpaid item in my Purchases history. The seller will let you know which payment methods they accept. Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.

As said though 99% of the time all goes well because someone wants to sell something and someone else wants to buy it.It is when the 1% can see an opening for deception there can be a problem so best to leave as little to chance as possible IMO. YET.

Sellers may also accept cash for local collection purchases. I think it is ebay's set up fornat. But in others it doesn't much matter.
