Give them a preconfigured putty clients(with certificates for SSH login) and preconfigured RDP clients. Many IT people who use their Central product come to RemoteToPC looking for a LogMeIn alternative, but many small business users of LogMeIn Pro are also starting to discover us as a much more affordable remote PC access alternative. As mentioned, we just have to license the software for our engineers. Alternatives?? There's a free version, but it doesn't really like Secure Desktop. Radmin is priced per remote computer you want to control and the price per license can be less than $ 24. I just wipe the VM every once in a while and do a new install.Anydesk - works well if you set it up as unattended access. LogMeIn Free is gone. I am probably going to pay it, since it's too much of a pain to switch, and it has worked pretty well for me, I have to say. They struggle every month to keep their head above water. So it's $50 and a few free copies of TightVNC and you're golden.Screenconnect recently bumped their prices drastically.Shoot — for my own work I use their hosted plan and it's still a dream of affordability compared to the other guys.ssh and port forwarding with RDP / VNC / Apple Screen Sharing. If you have a laptop and a desktop, even if you are only using one at a time, thats two licenses. it's like a more basic teamviewer.
