The dancing alone is fantastic and put that together with fabulous songs and singing and whelp, its knocked out of the park in my opinion, I don’t think I will ever have a more favorite broadway musical. This show and its musical arrangements is just the greatest!

The play has been out for almost 2 years now and about half of the cast has changed since the recording including the 2 main characters. I first got hooked on Newsies when my middle school social studies teacher showed it to us. Though I much prefer the original to the Broadway version for many reasons, this soundtrack leaves out much of the soaking plays that are mixed into the songs leaving many awkward instrumental moments that detract from the flow of the songs.
