This same manager assured me fresh croissants were being takenWe arrived to book in reception welcome was sadly lacking We spend the evening in howth and came back to our room Which was a superior sea-view room The room itself was very nice spacious, bathroom facilities good and bed comfortable BUT and I do say a very big BUT the room DID NOT have heating working the room was freezing all night a very small electric heater was in the room which would not heat a toilet never mind a room You could both hear and feel the draught coming through the window and to cap it off we were above the swimming pool so we had the filter system running all night long quite loudly vibrating around the room When I told one of the managers there his reply was ok good you let us know i will tell the duty manager ! There is a bar called the Schooner Bar to the left of the reception area and to the right is the Cucinos Restaurant which is Italian. The Marine Hotel is the ideal place for those looking for a quiet location, that is still convenient to the corporate or leisure guest, with just a short distance from both Dublin City Centre & Dublin International Airport. Staff were really accomadating! Dublin International airport is just 20 minutes away.

The staff are to be highly complimented.I really enjoyed my stay at the marine hotel! I watched the rugby match from the pub and enjoyed myself immensely. Breakfast was amazing - full continental and hot breakfast as well.
I got the impression this was a venue for the locals in the area to call into and there definitely was a nice atmosphere because of it.
From check in to check out, everything was awesome! I'm gluten free and breakfast was delicious.
All rooms in the hotel have tea/coffee making facilities as well as an en suite bathroom with toiletries.
