The voice work is unremarkable and both Kareena and Saif seem to be essentially reprising their well known off-screen personae. As a fan of animation, Jugal Hansraj teamed up with Aditya Chopra to write their first cartoon. Roadside Romeo is an animated 2008 Bollywood film distributed by Disney (yes, Disney) and Yash Raj Films.It is the second Bollywood film to be released in North America, but only in a handful of theaters. Without doubt the worst film I've ever seen.

She reaches for his hand and grabs it but the handle Romeo was holding had lost its top screws, making him fall off with Laila, after which they raise there heads to each other and say "I love you" in sync.

Sure it may be campy at some parts, but hey, this is India's first well-animated film, so I'll cut them some slack. He's also emotional and easily angered.

However, the canine gangster is only made much angrier by this and once again threatens to kill Romeo until the dog promises a second attempt for Laila's heart. Roadside romeo is a movie with a simple overdone plot and cliche characters? The constant references to Yashraj films annoy. acting good.romeo doesn't look so good but who cares.?? It could have been worse. Directed by Jugal Hansraj. Khan simply made himself inaccessible. Disney goes Bollywood! This film starts with a vain and spoiled male dog, the title Romeo, singing and dancing, in a very sexist performance, with bitches kissing him like he was a king. i wasn't at all disappointed. While not even close to international standards, it's leagues ahead of anything previously made in India. Charlie Anna is the main antagonist of the Hindi animated film Roadside Romeo. first of all o think Saif Ali Khan did a very good job his voice was fantastic.Karena was good. If not, that's fine with me. Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Padmini has the blue color scheme, Nalini has the red color scheme, and Sunithia has the green color scheme. Jaffrey aside, the remainder of the voice work is inconsistent, ranging from so-so to barely adequate. This film is kinda like a CGI Bollywood version of Lady and the Tramp meets All Dogs Go To Heaven, but there's nothing wrong with that.

The love story, revolving around talking dogs, has the voices of real-life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The Angels or Charlie's Angels are a trio of female ninja grey Dobermans and act as Charlie Anna's bodyguards.

He encounters four strays, who scare the daylights out of him. Romeo is now faced with situations he has never been in before.

Romeo does not intend to lose Laila, but plans to deflate Charlie's ego by having a disguised Mini pretend to be Laila and make it clear she's not interested. Was this review helpful? It would be wrong to say that so far we have been doing an inferior job in comparison to our Hollywood counterparts. The Don who everyone is scared of.

The story of a dog, Romeo (voiced by Saif Ali Khan) who was living the lavish life and suddenly finds himself on the mean streets of the city is clichéd to a fault. Sure it may be campy at some parts, but hey, this is India's first well-animated film, so I'll cut them some slack. The script is fantastic.. ideas innovative. this is a complete family entertainer. In order to throw Charlie Anna off, Romeo has his cat friend Mini disguise herself as Laila to make it appear that she quite soundly rejects Charlie Anna. Production commenced in January 2007, continuing for two and a half years and involved 150 crew members; twenty-one months were spent on the animation. Also Javed Jaffrey is a lot of fun here. Charlie thinks highly of himself and is feared by many dogs. There is but one thing which gradually comes to annoy Ishwar: his son's laziness and ... The dreaded Don of the area - Charlie Anna. This is a light-hearted funny movie with top notch animation sequences.

! One plus point- the animation quality. He is voiced by Javed Jaffrey.
